View across a nature reserve

This is a view of one of the pools in our local nature reserve. This was taken on our way back from the pub this evening. We have a circular walk from home that takes in a nice pub half way round (after the boring road bit) and then returns via the Thames and the nature reserve. I decided to try the HDR setting on my new camera and this is one of the best shots that emerged. Looks like it could be fun to play with in the future.

We tried stalking a heron but couldn't get close enough to get a decent picture this time.

Easter egg bingo at school this afternoon - a disappointing turnout but it was still good fun. Much cake was eaten (and even more sold off or brought back home).
