Not every day

After a day dealing with the last-minute cancellation of our play, I needed to get out and breathe. Mid-afternoon the sun was out, I grabbed boots, camera and a banana and drove to Longridge Fell. Just had time to walk up to Spire Hill and back. The views across Vale of Chipping towards Bleasdale Fells were wonderful, but I chose this blip for the simplicity of the image. I think it's the whitest trig point marker I've ever seen. In the distance can be seen the northern Bowland hills and the Three Peaks beyond them.
