Sunday 3 April 2011: Lifeline

The council have been very good to me today. To help me extend my series of Blips of Andy Scott sculptures they erected a brand new one called Lifeline.

These sculptures are a bit controversial around here, whilst I was photographing this one (in the middle of another roundabout) two seperate cars drove past, wound down their windows and shouted out '...a waste of f*cking tax payers money', some people have even tried to destroy them. Well speaking as a tax payer I'm personally glad that we get such art works erected locally...but I can understandother peoples views on the matter...still I hope they refrian from trying to knock this one down with a stolen car!

Off travelling to visit family tomorrow so there will be a few days break in my Blipping...will fill in with Backblips on my return.
