Saturday 2 April 2011: Black and White 'Van Man

Off on a weekend jaunt to a friends' caravan today, partly to celebrate a special birthday of another of our friends, partly an excuse to get some fresh air and fresh beer.

Weather wasn't too bad either today, though that wasn't an issue as we spent most of the afternoon in hotels and pubs in the nearby town of Comrie whilst the ladies headed off to the Crieff Hydro for an afternoon's pampering.

We then came back for an evening's Kard-aoke in the caravan site's pub; a surreal mix of karaoke being sung around a game of Black Jack set up at the side of the dance floor. Not sure how the card players managed to concentrate on counting to 21 as our lot belted out/vandalised various tunes. What made it even more surreal was the fact the players seemed to appearing in stranger and stranger outfits as a form of forfeit and the card table started to resemble some sort of freaky fancy dress parade gone wrong.

Must've been a good night though as the last photos on the camera I had were of the inside of the gent's toilet and the shiny new urinals they've had installed. That's always an indication of a good evening on the lash.
