Stride

Aside from the middle bit of the day (at work) today was a bit of a change.

Baby42 was up before I left and she didn't like me leaving for work at all! She crawled to the bannister at the top of the stairs and waved me off, which was super sweet and quite hard to leave.

Then this evening after dinner Mrs42 was very brave and we switched the bedtime routine a little, with story after her milk - so it's the first time that Mrs42 hasn't put her baby to bed in over a year. One of what I'm sure will be a million little letting go's.

Baby42 was brilliant of course and took it all in her stride. There hasn't been a peep out of her all evening.

Right - gotta go and make some cards before bed.
