Monday 4 April 2011: Sunshine on Granton
Oh frabjous day. Down to Granton after work - connected the batteries and the little engine sprung happily into life having slept through all that snow in the winter. And when I turned up at the yachtie club after having dispatched a smoked sausage supper, George handed me the boat name which had been handed in by Noel on Saturday.
And it got better! Got home to find the new edition of the Forth Pilots Guide had arrived. It's been out of print for years and a rarity to get hold of, so a new edition is most welcome.
And just to cap it all a new copy of Yachting Monthly has arrived for me to read on the bus (in plain brown cover) tomorrow morning. Time for a wee Caol Ila.
