Monday 28 March 2011: Securi-nazi (again)
HMS edinburgh was in port, and seeing as I live a stones throw away from here I thought I'd take a shot or two. It was the open day yesterday which I missed so heading down for a walk I grabbed my camera. I took two (not very good) photos before a security guard came along in an unmarked car and said "ye cannae take foties" I asked why and he pointed to a sign saying no photos. I was going to remonstrate about the rights of the photographer but couldn't be arsed so I went up to the top of Ocean Terminal car park where I, along with three other photographers, snapped merrily away.
