Wednesday 6 April 2011: Delicate Balance

Cat tears <sigh>. Ming is almost 9 years old. She was tossed out a car as a kitten into the road to die and was saved by a neighbor's child and brought to my door in a little flower pot. That one side of her head has always had issues. When she went to be spayed she almost died. I had told the vet she needed low normal anesthesia - that she was a very delicate balance. He did not listen to me and she flatlined but was revived. We never went back there.

Later on I found a dream vet (she has since moved away - I miss her so much) who was able to handle Ming's delicate balance and spayed her. The eye - well she has sinus issues and eye issues that have been treated with western, eastern and holistic treatments over the years.

When she lays in the sun she often gets the teary eye. She actually has been a bit better than usual as of late so we grab the good moments when we can. Don't let her fool you - she can be a little terrorist!
