Wednesday 6 April 2011: A Balancing Act

This is one of many temporary art works that you can find along this side of the Rhein. They can be made of balanced stones like this one or can be fashioned out of wood, rope, plastic that has been washed up. I quite like them.

I guess that they get knocked over by the waves or weather as they don't last.

Been a job hunting day today. Applied for one using a dramatically remodelled cv so that it reflected more of the words in the advert and wrote an awfully keen letter. And applied for another, again tweaking the cv and letter to fit the advert better. It may be part of the "game" but then the "game" is terribly tedious and has a lot of stupid rules.

And talking of stupid rules, it's the Sprachschule again tonight and we're moving on to Lektion 2. Conjugating verbs. I live for such thrills.
