Monday 18 February 2008: Conflicted

I guess I'm conflicted about the banning of a couple of Blipfoto contributors for promoting attention to a charity they support and a day for the recognition of depression. On the one hand I understand the rules say no advertising and Joe got complaints. But really who complains over people wanting to raise awareness for a good cause? Is a comment on your journal that annoying? If you don't agree with it, can't you just not participate and let the people who want to participate do so? I guess it could get out of hand, so I see that aspect of it. Hence the conflicted feelings.

What I'm not conflicted over is my feelings on the Blipblog announcement of the moderators decision being comments closed. Well, that speaks volumes about what's allowed.
