Saturday 9 April 2011: Nearlies
A day of almosts and not quites!!
Up early for football, a cup game against a good team from the league above. Pushed them all the way but ran out of steam in the second half of extra time and lost 3-1. Nearly!!
Then went to a friends to watch the Grand National. My horse led for quite a while but much like the my football team, tired late on and eventually came 5th. I needed it to come 4th or better for a return. Nearly!!
Anyway this is my mate's dog Rueben. He waddles around and grunts a lot!! I think he's a British Bulldog? I'm sure someone more dog knowledgeable will either confirm or correct!
