Sunday 10 April 2011: Lakeside Miniature Railway

Another scorching day so we took a trip out to the beach at Southport. Apparently every man and his dog had the same idea as the place was heaving. The crowds weren't a problem, though. It's pretty easy to ignore them when you're casually strolling along the pier with an ice cream and enjoying the sun and sea air.
