A Rose By Any Other Name

This is taken in a passage running behind some shops in Brighton. I'd passed this on several occasions but the plant had always been concealed from view by a couple of chained up mountain bikes and some window security grilles belonging to a nearby store.

However today I noticed how, although the plant appeared dead, the algae on the wall gave the appearance of foliage. I moved the grilles and bikes just enough to get the blip.
