Monday 11 April 2011: What politicians do....
For part of today I was down on the Ayrshire coast, campaigning with Kenneth Gibson, the former MSP for Cunningham North who is defending one of the smallest majorities in Scotland but doing it with his usual enthusiasm, dedication and sheer hard work. On our way from an interview with a local journalist at a nursery school, we had to stop whilst he had his picture taken by his Campaign Manger for yet another leaflet. Then we spent an hour knocking doors in Saltcoats.
