Tuesday 12 April 2011: Rattled My Cage
Today started early. Earlier than Moot. Woken at around 4:30 by noisy, blustery weather - it was really blowing hard. I was waiting for Moot to join in the cacophony but he slept through it.
And then 5 minutes after the weather had calmed down, he started up. So that was me up and enjoying the lovely whiff of cat food at before 5 in the morning. Followed by him meowing around the flat for what felt like hours but was in fact Real Hours. He is a poppet.
I enjoyed my cup of tea when I finally got it.
Today's Blip is one of the branches on the fig tree. It has actually set some fruit which I might try if they ripen properly - although I'd have to get past that whole I-only-know-them-from-Fig-Rolls-which-taste-of-poo-in-cardboard thing I have in my head. I'm sure they'll be lovely.
