In my yard - female cardinal

In my yard today this beautiful female cardinal was waiting for the squrriel to leave the feeder. It was a rainy wet day for all the yard creatures.

Thanks for all the well wishes - saw the surgeon today to change the dressing. Everything was healing nicely. P had me take a picture so she could see the progress and tried to convince me to make it my blip. I know you will enjoy the female cardinal much more!
