Mysterious figure in a red cape

I took a long walk at lunch around Stong Pond at York University. At first, I was quite surprised to see only two Canada geese in the pond. This time of year there should be 200 of them. And ducks. And maybe the odd great blue heron or swan. I turned around and saw a hawk soaring overhead looking for its lunch. When I turned back to the pond a figure in a bright red cape was dashing along the path on the other side. Whoever it was was in a hurry. Superman? Little Red Riding Hood? Most curious.
