Friday 15 April 2011: Kintyre Landscape
I was in Campbeltown for most of the day, door knocking and visiting voters. This afternoon I dropped off a field poster to a farmer just north of the town, and came back down by way of this minor road. The view suddently opened up and I immediately thought it was my blip for the day. And despite a number of shots of Campbeltown Loch and the pier - full of boats and with a lowering cloud - it was !
Even though the lyrics were ringing in my head:
I'd buy a yacht with the money I've got
And I'd anchor it out in the bay.
If I wanted a sip I'd go in for a dip
I'd be swimmin' by night and by day.
