Who Needs the Telly?

Didn't take many photos today as we've spent a good part of it on the road driving home and leaving this view far behind. This format isn't the best for being displayed on here, but looking back through the week's worth of blips from our trip I realised I hadn't shown a good view from where we'd rented the cottage so wanted to record it for looking back on later.

I also realised none of us had switched on and viewed any TV for the whole week and hadn't missed that at all. With all this going on on the other side of the glass from you the telly's a poor substitute.

Back now to the realities of seeing lots of people instead of sheep, driving on mad, busy roads instead of deserted single tracks, shopping in superstores instead of tiny local shops, of mobile phones bleeping and ringing and, of course, the TV on in the background (but no-one really watching it). And, on Monday, back to work after a week in which the batteries have hopefully been topped up a little bit.
