Saturday 16 April 2011: Lakeland Fell at Sunset
We have been on a Squad Weekend in the Lake District and this was taken just after evening meal as it was obvious from sitting out in the Youth Hostel garden that the sunset was going to be rather good. So I gulped down my mug of tea and headed up the hill behind the Hostel. The sun was going down over the Langdale Pikes so that was a no-no, but when I turned my camera round the other way I blipped several shots with the sun just touching the hilltops and the valley in shadow. I struggled over whether to upload this one or this one. You can take a look at the other ones too if you wish!
