Sunday 17 April 2011: First Cuckoo... Flower!

Usually when this Cuckoo Flower, or other name Lady's Smock flowers, the cuckoo is in the woods, going, well, cuckoo... but I haven't heard any here in years, they're definitely in serious trouble here. I love cuckoo flowers, some do grow in the front garden here, but this photo was taken on a 3 hour walk I did as part of a local village event with 128 other walkers & their dogs! At £5 a head, & money raised for the village hall, not a bad turn out! :)
