Monday 18 April 2011: Snow!
Oh no, we can no longer pretend that winter isn't coming. I thought it was a little chillier this morning, but I'm a fan of cooler weather so I didn't mind. However, I have to admit I wasn't really quite so pleased when I drove to work and saw snow on the hills around us.
We don't get much snow in Murchison itself, but we're surrounded on all sides by hills that DO get their fair share of it. This photo, taken from the top end of our main street, is only a minor taster for us. By July ALL the hills will have white crowns, while all you non-kiwis will be basking in the sun!
