Monday 18 April 2011: Autumnal Tapestry
Woke to a light dusting of snow on the upper hills - gone by mid morning - with an icy wind to bring a tear to the eyes. Sun shone intermittently between squalls of rain and grey thunderous cloud cover.
Took a load of old newspapers and bread bags up to the local SPCA and took the opportunity to walk Robbie, our pooch, and of course capture a few images. The autumn colours are well set now and many a tree stands shivering in it's nakedness. When the sun came out the wet leaves glinted, catching ones eye and breath in their beauty.
This arboreal gathering denotes one border of the northern cemetery and is kept company by the botanical gardens behind this image.
