Monday 18 April 2011: In the Unlikliest Places @bbc_springwatch #SIBG11
You may remember that I had a disaster with my tripod. Well, I bought a replacement today and it is excellent. It is a Manfrotto (thank you Lawrie) with a central column that does both vertical and horizontal, and four-position legs. Smart!
I found this Cowslip by chance, hidden along one of the fences that protect Lemonroyd Filter Beds. Though with the stench the filter beds were giving off today, the fences are pretty superfluous!! Always worth checking though, for a returning Water Pipit.
