Monday 18 April 2011: Eighteen days to go...
And the signs of the election out on the street are increasing, not to mention the increase in things coming through the letterbox. The juxtaposition of the closing down sale and the local Lib Dems use of another empty shop unit next door seemed symbolic although not quite sure of what - the Lib Dems acting as a human shield for the Tories ideologically motivated cuts that seem to be deepening the recession, or the demise of the Lib Dems themselves as the electorate take the opportunity to give Clegg & Co a good kicking for not being the different sort of party they had promised to be?
In the interests of balance I'm going to have to find blips of the other parties in the days ahead...
