Tay Ghillie

A grand day out.

A 6am start this morning to be on the water before the heat of the day. I was rewarded for my early start by catching two lovely brown trout that were soon released back to the watery world they came from.

Then down to Dowies to clear out and repair the salmon ladder before the main runs of fish start. With the work done there was time for a fry-up of sausages, cooked over an open wood fire. Why does food always taste so much better in the open and especially with the added benefit of some woodsmoke?
