The fool on the hill

Imagine

Imagine a world where someone could be brought in to run a company and that person had a vision and a strategy and wanted the company to produce something that the whole workforce could be proud of and that people wanted to buy because it worked well and was good value for money. Wouldn't it be better than shuffling the accounts so things looked rosy and selling stuff that didn't work properly or even throwing money at something without actually managing what was happening with the money and the product? I think it could be quite rewarding in the long run - but I'm probably a bit simple.
