Opened

I took a series of flower images this afternoon and this is my favourite. I like the shadow of the stamens on the petals.

PS: when I shot this, I was so close to the ground that I noticed that these flowers have a lovely faint and subtle perfume. Had I not been taking a close up shot, I would have never appreciated their scent...
