Tuesday 19 April 2011: Long day at Kilmory
The parents , families and community members who came to protest (volubly but politely and with humour at times ) at Kilmory Castle the HQ of Argyll and Bute Council whilst the crucial council meeting about school closures was being held showed exemplary patience. The meeting went on for almost 12 hours - which was a nonsense in itself - and brought little but bad news except for Ashfield School, which was the only one to win a reprieve. However, the fight goes on !
