Wednesday 20 April 2011: Forty Winks in a Sand Storm

A young soldier fast asleep, seeking shelter from the sand behind a concrete blast wall.

As a former soldier i can attest to the fact that we could sleep anywhere, a good soldier should be able to sleep on a washing line.

Had to be very quick taking this photo as its an arrest-able offence to take photographs on this base, its also illegal to sketch !!!
