Wednesday 20 April 2011: Sad Ending
This used to be the shop where I bought all my stationery. The building behind it was knocked down recently and so were the 'sheds' that housed my favourite shop. I imagine that the site, like so many others around the city will have new high rise apartments.
I liked going in there because the little old lady (pictured) was always happy and more than willing to help me find what I was looking for amidst piles and stacks of 'stuff'. She's a lovely lady. I haven;t had the chance to ask her if she is moving to a new location.
Progress.. sometimes it takes away some of the quaint little things.
