Wednesday 20 April 2011: Sauchiehall Street
Obviously not but there were times it felt like that down here tonight with the number of dog walkers, joggers, cyclist, photographers, sheep and tracksuited types pushing babies in buggies whilst playing sweary word laden shit music through their shitty mobile phone speakers. Kinda killed the atmosphere that bit did.
After our first alfresco tea of the year out in the garden 75% of the Delph Wynd Daily household headed down and along the old Alloa railway line that used to head out over the river towards Larbert. I hadn't walked all the way down to the old bridge supports that cross the Forth at the end of the path and thought there would be some photos to be had in the subject. Wasn't happening though, the sun had disappeared and the light was doing nothing to help, so we fought our way back through the clouds of midges and neds and off home.
Pleasant walk all the same. And just realised the same place as we walked exactly a year ago - complete coincidence.
