Book Group nibbles

Only phone call at work today was from number one son asking where a particular shirt was. He needed something blue to wear as he'd been invited to a Chelsea match by a friend. As I'd taken the shirt from the washing basket and put it in the washer that morning, I was not popular (mothers! - how unreasonable are we?). Luckily it was a bright sunny day again and so he was able to rescue it from the washer (just THAT shirt, mind) and hang it on the line. (Hope he enjoyed the match - heard him come in at 3.40 am!)

Second book group hosting tonight. Small group as lots are away on holiday and taking advantage of school holidays and the numerous bank holidays to escape. Lots of food and wine consumed. Book discussed. World put to right.

No work tomorrow. Will be waiting in for shed and fence panels to be delivered and new Tivo box for TV to be installed. And there's still all that ironing.......
