Saturday 23 April 2011: Twin babies
A while ago, I blipped the mom on the neat, virtually unsoiled nest.
Two babies have hatched and they seem to be alive and well.
When going past the nest, they puff themselves and it seems all vital signs are working well.
Since it is not very warm any more, it is reassuring to see feathers replacing the yellow fluff.
The Mom is away for longer periods, I guess finding food to feed the two hungry mouths. I think that she is still with them at night.
Space is surely becoming a problem, but with the chilly nights, closeness will be comforting.
