Yesterday was such a cracking day. We sat out in the back garden until nine - long after it had got dark. And it was still warm!!

We hoped to do the same thing today, but we were thwarted (temporarily I hope) by a surprise shower of rain. As I hurried to put the sunshade in the garage, I looked up to see this attached to the roof. Judging by the state, we had a lucky escape. Had this attempt to start a colony succeeded, we would have been overrun by wasps, which would have put paid to any more days and evenings on the patio!
