Saturday 23 April 2011: Steaming Up

The holiday weekend continued with a trip to the Easter Fun Day at Northcliffe Woods, Shipley. Apart from various games for the children, the Bradford Model Engineering Society were running the two miniature railways that they operate in the park. This shot captures the engineers preparing engines for the smaller track - yes these delicate machines really do pull trains with grown ups and children around the park.

This was a great community event organised by the Friends of Northcliffe.
