Sorting quarter of a tonne of clothes!

Today was pretty mad. When we arrived at Ilala house this morning the cooker had burned a cable so Harrisen had to find an electrician and bigger cable. Plan B was finding clothes for the kids on the farm and the birthing centre. The models here were oohing and aahing at the beauty of the lovely items Nicki had got from Mothercare and the others had scrounged from everywhere. They matched and sized and changed and had fun.
We got word that the pump at Arron Soko village wasn't working
so we were on it, all of us, only to find that it had been vandalised in a feud with a neighbouring village: I suppose there's a first time for everything.
We stopped off at Sonda where we built a school with the community two years ago only to find little progress since.
On to the farm and the birthing centre with the goodies, Harisen got parts for the pump and we had it fixed within an hour. Clean water for Easter and joy all around.
Boys are cooking tonight so stopped off for shopping.
Just in from two and a half hour marathon Church service, but it was magical.
By the way the black face in the group is Alipha, our employee and the nursing student we support in the Nursing College in Ekwendeni.
