Sunday 24 April 2011: Happy Eostre
"Little else [...] is known about [?ostre], but it has been suggested that her lights, as goddess of the dawn, were carried by hares. And she certainly represented spring fecundity, and love and carnal pleasure that leads to fecundity."
- A. Ernout and A. Meillet (cited by John Andrew Boyle
Happy first weekend after the first full moon following the autumnal (or vernal for you Northerners) equinox ;-)
My wife made an awesome cake to celebrate, and I chose it as my blip, as the photo involved a tripod, angling carefully, using the timer and so on. And the magazine preset Camera Bag.
Begin to unravel these clues,
use genius and lateral views.
now you see, now you don't,
now you'll guess, now you won't,
yet someone may woffle their nose!
