Sunday 24 April 2011: Today I will be mainly eating eggs
Deprived of powdered food colorants (Aussie customs don't let them through), I had to resort to traditional methods. These eggs were boiled in onion skins. Less variety, but you can pick the good one easier without being distracted by colours. I am not sure how many nations have the same tradition, but Polish Easter couldn't be without egg fights. Knocking each others eggs is a great pastime. Person with the strongest egg wins the broken egg and eats it. For me Easter tastes like hard-boiled eggs.
