Sunday 24 April 2011: The Falls of Dockart

Pictured are Grannie, Grandad, Lucinda and I.
(Our feet are missing because Husband was taking the photo! ;-)

We left home shortly after breakfast to go visit Grannie and Grandad at their holiday home in Killin. Everything was going well until 30 minutes before we arrived. Poor Lucinda threw up. We had to stop at the side of the road and get her out and strip off her t-shirt and clean the car seat as best we could. We then carried on but Lucinda was really stressed and upset. She was extremely tired, wet and hungry. It was terrible. We arrived at Grannie and Grandad's and plonked poor Lucinda into the kitchen sink for a wash before getting her into some clean clothes and giving her some lunch. She ate all of her lunch. Poor babas.

We had visitors to see Lucinda after lunch and then got her down for a nap. She seemed ok after the nap and we went into the village. But after a short time she was very clingy and only wanted Mummy. Nobody else had a look in. I carried her for ages as she didn't want to walk. That's unusual for her. We took her to the park but she wasn't fussed for being there and just wanted to be held. On the way back to the site we stopped at the top of the road as we thought she was going to throw up again. Husband and I walked down with me holding Lucinda again. I thought it may have been travel sickness as we've not taken her on that long a journey before but we are now back at home and she managed the journey back without incident so will keep an eye on her through the night incase it's a bug.
