Saturday 23 April 2011: Daddy cuddles

We went to the High Lodge visitor centre at Thetford for a picnic and a play. It has a trail of play "sculptures" around a path going into the forest. We didn't see any Gruffalos, or Ninky Nonks, but did have two children having fun and getting very grubby playing on the equipment. I would also like to point out that Miss Pink received two bags for her birthday. And they have now become portals for all her treasures. Bunny, blanket, iggle piggle, upsy Daisy, the tombliboos, a bracelet, a small magnet from the fridge, and a sticker, were all taken in one of the bags. The bag did not leave Miss Pink's hand. During the picnic, during suddles with Daddy, during negotiating a big girls slide in the play area, or whilst eating some of mummy's ice cream.

Oh and then there was a thunder storm, and it rained, lots, and hailed, lots. But noone at home believed us as it had been scorching hot and sunny all day.
