Sides

Warm, gorgeous, and dazzling-- this was the weather all day today, Easter Sunday. Attended Easter mass at 11 am, with plenty of time to spare in the afternoon to make just a few favorite things for Easter dinner with family who are here with us in Norfolk-- we had a baked ham with homemade mango-tomato-lime salsa; brown and red rice; and asparagus tempura with a garlic-ginger aioli dipping sauce on the side.

Would that the promise of renewal truly permeate all aspects of daily life; especially because there are all those times, it seems, when the blows just don't know when to stop raining.
