"RATHAUS" wARBURG.

This morning we left The Hague early in the morning, going by car to Germany.
We follow the "Autobahn" nr. 3, nr. 2 and nr. 1, and then the 44.
Exit Warburg and now for the first time since three years we leave the road to visit the old town of Warburg. We saw how beautiful it still is in the exhibition catalogue of the "Künstler im Weserbergland" and I knew then that I had to see it some day.
On this bright day it was such a revelation to walk the old street with cobble-stones and the high stoned wall, down to the Diemel. The same Diemel that streams through Karlshafen. We marvelled quite a long time there before finishing our journey.
Along the roads up the hills there were the bright yellow rape-seed fields, only this time of year blossoming. Oh how do we love the view of it.
