Tuesday 26 April 2011: Tamworth
I know what you're thinking - but no, its not a self portrait. (I can see how you might make that mistake!).
The Tamworth pig is classified as 'at risk' by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. There are less than 300 breeding females in existence. Apparently it is not well suited to modern production techniques for pigs and has suffered accordingly.
I'm not yet sleeping properly due to a bit of jet lag so I was up at the crack of dawn taking pictures and caught our friend here eating breakfast.
