Sleeping Poppy

Another day where I just didn't seem to get time to take any pictures.

Got home with a thought of blipping one or more of the poppies that grow around the drive and front garden.

Fell asleep on the settee and woke up after the light had gone.

Went out with an LED light attached to the side of the camera to see if I could recover the situation.

It was windy, not really condusive to taking pictures in low/non-existent light.

Took 2 of this poppy and 2 of a dandelion seed-head.

The dandelion was completely out of focus.

The Poppy was better but still disappointing.
Not sharp enough and the highlights were blown.

Decided it was too cold and windy to try again.

Attempted to try and make the best of a bad job in photoshop.

As Porky Pig would say....
