Wednesday 27 April 2011: Feet

This is an Antony Gormley statue that was donated to the McDonald Institute here in Cambridge a couple of years ago. Anotony Gormley has made many statues, like the Angel of the North, and he also placed statues on a Crosby beach near liverpool.

This statue is buried with just his feet showing, you are supposed to stand on his feet and feel the earth flowing through you, coughs, it's not working!!!!

He tends to make body casts of himself which become the statues and this is art, so everything is on show, sorry, more like an arty flasher......
The builders working on the museam next door have put a lovely box around it so they know where to run him over with their scafolding lorries, lol.
