How old?

Yet another glorious day.

D and N and I went on the recce for the walk called Old Roads to New Paths. It's a lovely walk with terrific views, but we also spent time looking at the newly blooming wild flowers. Over and above were the trees and so many were full of blossom. The lime and the bird cherry were particularly splendid.

Back in Haltwhistle we met up with the other walkers at M and B's joint birthday party. We sat in the garden until early evening when the sun moved away and the temperature dropped. Food was good and the company excellent.

C made this birthday cake and I was delighted to capture the moment when M took in a deep breath, obviously thinking she was going to blow out the number of candles for her age!!

Only 2 more days to the walking festival now. All recces are done. Phew!
