Thursday 28 April 2011: Spring growth

I took this first thing this morning. the light was beautiful and I love the colour of the fresh leaves coming out on the trees. This is a lime tree at the end of our street which is really lovely.

I took a few others too but I liked this for its simplicity.

Meanwhile royal wedding fever in the office reached new levels today!! I have to say that I hope while the rest of the country is avidly watching Kate and wills get hitched we'll be charging down the empty M6 to Somerset for a parental visit - that's the plan anyway.

Today Bob's school marked the occasion by holding their own wedding ceremony at which all the children had to wear their best clothes. unfortunately Bob doesn't have 'best' clothes (if you've seen this you'll know why) but lovely Liz came to the rescue with a shirt, tie and waistcoat worn by Bob's best friend Marc to his Uncle's wedding a few months back, it made me realise how well he can scrub up, he looks absolutely gorgeous (should have blipped that but really by the time I picked him up from afterschool club he didn't look quite so well polished as he had done before school!)
