Thursday 28 April 2011: Spot the Swan
The female swan at the pond is still sat on her nest. Surely it can't be long now. When she first plonked herself on there she was so easy to spot we could see her from our bedroom window. However since the weather has improved the reeds have shot up and she is now well camouflaged.
Another long weekend coming up, I could get used to this!!!!
Thought I had spotted and photoed the space shuttle flying over head this evening, after seeing it being discussed on the forum. On closer inspection it was just an aeroplane......and i'd have done very well as the shuttle doesn't launch until tomorrow!!!! Oooooops!!!
