Friday 29 April 2011: Who's getting married?
I'm not remotely a royalist by any stretch and was determined to spend today working on my essay, but even I have to admit to being slightly moved while watching proceedings on a small window on my screen. How soft is that?!
Anyway, I spotted this venue earlier in the week and nipped back this morning to blip it in all it's glory. The chairs are in rows facing the huge flat screen tv and there's a few old gals bedecked in plastic union jack flags adorned with 'The Sun' logo. All ready to go with the conga around the new smoking shelter!
This community hall is in the local authority housing estate. I was struck by how grey and soulless it was this morning, with just this little hive of patriotic activity.
